How can we celebrate 20 years without re-sharing one of our biggest fans!?

Meet Violet, a Streamline super-fan. Violet loves riding the bus with her friends, making new friends on the bus, and that Streamline is zero-fare!

Check out our quick Q&A with her!

Q: What does it mean to you to have Streamline in our community?
A: To me, I feel like Streamline is at the center of our community. Whenever I ride the bus I feel surrounded by my community, I have met and talked to so many new people while waiting at the bus stop. I also feel that it is extremely cool that we have free buses in a smaller city. I think that not a lot of people really realize how special that is that we have zero-fare buses in the community.

Q: That’s awesome! What’s your favorite part about Streamline's service?
A: Well my favorite line is the Blueline but I’d have to say my favorite part is that the bus is free!

Q: I was just about to ask your favorite line. What makes the Blueline your favorite?
A: It’s the line closest to my house and it takes me to Winco which is my fav place to take the bus to!

Q: Our slogan is "Benefits us all". What does that mean to you?
A: To me that means that Streamline is here to serve and support all of our community! I think that Streamline is a service and a tool for our whole community to use regardless of your income or if you have a car.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share about Streamline?
A: Just that I love Streamline very much!

For this week of 20 years in 20 weeks, we're highlighting our riders!! None of this exists without you all and we're humbled and grateful to have such strong community support.

Meet Rodrique!

We’re honored to serve Montana State’s biggest sports fan! As a Bozeman native and lifelong Bobcats fan, Rodrique loves that he can ride the bus to and from Cat games as well as to his job at MSU four days a week! Thanks for riding Rodrique! We’re always happy to get you to the game!

We can offer specialized education/trainings, but we're also happy to create something new for your group!

Pictured above was a large group of folks involved with a local non profit that just wanted to learn more about the bus. We met up with them ahead of time, chatted about what they were hoping to get out of a travel training and customized an afternoon to meet the needs of their group!

If you'd like to plan something similar, message us and we'll help you get something set up.

Since we're sharing some of the various training and education we offer this week, we wanted to share one of our favorites!

Over the past few months we have been working with the Montana Association for the Blind to launch a recurring training program that teaches how to ride the bus with no vision or low vision. We worked with their mobility instructor to come up with a training that worked for everyone and were even able to address accessibility flaws we learned about our system.

In observance of Memorial Day, Streamline will not be operating on Monday, May 25th.

For week 7 of our 20 years in 20 weeks campaign, we're highlighting some of the community trainings we have done over the years!

Just last week we popped in to teach some second graders about Streamline. After some how to ride videos, we set out on a real bus ride in town where everyone got to practice what they learned! We heard this class loved coloring sheets and stickers so of course we came prepared!

Are you interested in a similar training? Message us and we'll make it happen!

In our last post we showed you all a mayoral proclamation for Streamline Appreciation Day. What could possibly be cooler than a Streamline appreciation day? Streamline Appreciation Month!

Back in 2016, Mayor Carson Taylor designated August, 2016, as Streamline Appreciation Month! How many of you were in town to celebrate with us back then?

For this week's 20 Years in 20 Weeks theme, we wanted to highlight mayoral proclamations in the past that recognized the service, safety, and dedication of Streamline to our community. Maybe we're due for another official Streamline Appreciation Day? 👀

For this week's 20 years in 20 weeks, we'll be highlighting some of the early changes we made to our service... and we can't believe its been 18 years since we started our service to Livingston! In 2007 we heard people would take a bus to navigate the pass safely in the winter, and in 2008 we gave our first ride to Livingston! Keeping people safe and offering a zero-fare and zero-hassle way to get around is kind of our thing!
