Well now were looking at the future finish on our 1934 Wheeler playmate, and struts are mounted with Ipe' shim blocks epoxied for 12 degree shaft angle as designed.. Love the black seamed look we're going for..

I had to cap off the mahogany cockpit with handrails, it's not all about original to me, but what's functionally pleasing to my eye.. and we have the struts and shaftlogs all refurbished and positioned for driveline installation for our 1934 40 ft Wheeler on it's new bottom.. The engine cradles have been fabricated, positioned, and ready to powdercoat and install.. It's the little things getting done that excite me..

Were now well on our way to finishing engine beds between new oak bulkheads, and forward stringers, we installed all new strut planks, new back ribs, and on to cotton seam packing for new Sika 291 black sealant.. the hull is now nearly completed and it feels good.. Jack and Shane are really into their work on this, and it's showing.

Well we've got most of the mahogany planks done, and fairing is underway making this Wheeler strong and proud again..
