The roundabout at Strayer Road and U.S. 20A is now open in Maumee/Monclova Township!

Westbound motorists will notice a “bump” sign as you are approaching the roundabout. The transition from old pavement to new pavement is a slight dip down, which will require a 1-day closure within the next few weeks (date tbd). Please use caution in the area as motorists adapt to the new configuration!

State Route 199 at U.S. Route 6 has reopened following a project to remove the grass triangle median from north of the intersection. With the grassy median removed, trucks, cars, and haulers alike will have an easier turn radius from both eastbound and westbound on U.S. Route 6 when turning north on SR 199.

The road reopened just before 8am.

Eastbound US 24 is closed east of Napoleon this morning due to a bad pavement mix failing during an overnight patch job. Crews expect to have the lanes reopened by 8am.

All traffic is being diverted off at Industrial Drive to County Road 424 to State Route 109 to return to eastbound US 24.

The intersection of State Route 64 at State Route 295 in Whitehouse closes this morning for 14 days to relocate drainage under the road. This work is being done in advance of a resurfacing project scheduled for next summer.

OTTAWA CO./Danbury Twp./Catawba/Port Clinton: Westbound State Route 2 at the SR 269 exit will be closed tomorrow, October 5 at 7pm, and remain closed through Friday morning, October 9.

During this time, the eastbound SR 2 exit to SR 269 will also be closed. The work is to repair damage from an oversized load bridge strike earlier this year.

Westbound SR 2 traffic will be detoured using the SR 269 exit ramp, to the new roundabout, back to westbound SR 2.

Eastbound traffic wishing to use 269 must exit ~one mile sooner at SR 53, and take SR 163 to reach SR 269.
