Zincs aka Anode Advice and a really funny joke I wrote personally and I have more coming weekly !!

So time to get your boat ready . So let's talk zincs aka anodes . Facts you can't just clean them and reuse them . If you have a outboard motor just replace the anodes that are under water as if you keep outboard tilted up your just wasting money . If you have trims tabs the anodes will crust over but will not work unless one of the screws holding them on the boat is a machine screw that is grounded to the negative side of the battery . If you have a sterndrive with a mercathode system it only blocks stray current at slack tide when water is not moving . So if it's not working don't fix it as it's just a gimmick . Also if you have a sterndrive with stainless props prime and paint them with a ablative paint like pettit echo not the hard ablative that everyone uses . This reduces stainless exposure and greatly reduces corrosion . Trust me you will not notice and you not notice a speed or performance difference as I've personally tested it . And all sterndrives take 2 cans of paint and 2 coats don't forget the bellows as they are rubber and barnacle will cut them and will let water into drive system. From my experience aluminum andes work the best and sacrifice much faster than zinc . So that being said here's my own joke . There was interacial married anode couple that were having marriage problems. So why was the zinc wife unhappy with her s*x life with her husband who was made of aluminum alloy ....... because he had a premature corrosion issues. HA HA HA !!! This joke still makes me laugh LMAO I'm still working on this one as I think it needs more front story work .
