M.P. Marine is hiring!
Now Hiring: The Founding Technical Team
M.P. Marine was started with the intention of replacing chaos with a plan. In the world of boat wiring, we don’t just expect you to get it done. We provide our team with a clear roadmap so that every system we touch is built right, stays safe, and just works. We are looking for an Apprentice and Lead Tech who want to move past the guesswork and master the craft of high-end marine electrical systems.
The Opportunity: We are looking for our first full-time employees to help us set the bar for marine electrical excellence. Whether you are a seasoned expert looking for more autonomy or a motivated newcomer looking for a high-tech trade, we have a seat at the table for you.
Role 1: Experienced Lead Marine Electrician
The Focus: Lead the autonomous diagnosis, design, and installation of foundational AC/DC systems. You are the expert on Li-Ion battery systems, BMS integration, and NMEA 2000 digital networking.
The Standard: From clean and parallel cable runs to labeled harnesses, you ensure the "invisible" work is a work of art.
Qualifications: 3+ years of marine/industrial electrical experience. Knowledge of ABYC E-11 standards (ABYC/NMEA certifications a plus but not required).
Compensation: $38.00 - $50.00/hour + Performance Bonus eligibility.
Role 2: Entry-Level Marine Technician (Apprentice)
The Focus: Provide reliable support to the Lead Tech and Owner. You’ll learn the future of marine power—routing cables, securing connections, and maintaining a safe, organized shop.
The Mindset: You are a "Technical Investigator." You "Search First" using our digital resources and manufacturer portals to find the right answer before turning the screwdriver.
The Growth: We don't expect you to know everything, but we expect you to be honest. At M.P. Marine, mistakes are for learning, not hiding.
Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude, high school diploma/GED, and a desire to build a career in the electrical trades.
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00/hour + $500 Certification Bonus.
What We Offer All Employees
Intentional Culture: No more "making it work" with zip ties and prayers. We provide the roadmap and the right tools.
Investment in Mastery: 100% funding for all ABYC/NMEA certifications and specialized manufacturer training. We pay for you to become an expert.
Transparency: Open communication with the Owner, clear project notes, and a collaborative environment where your voice is heard.
