We recently discovered this winery in Gilmanton NH based upon a recommendation. The scenery, the service, the vibes were all perfect! From live music, breathtaking views, and very tasty and smooth wines, we found ourselves settling in and hanging out much longer than we had planned.
We did not try the food, but will the next time we visit. Everything about our experience here was great, we highly recommend it, we will definitely be back!

We decided we needed breakfast one Sunday while traveling. We stopped at Ramunto's Brick Oven Pizza in Brattleboro VT. Yes, for breakfast! They serve it on the weekends only. It was awesome! Service was great! Cleanliness was so so. We had the pancakes with a side of eggs and the Italian omelet with the hash brown casserole and biscuit. If we are in the area again it will be another stop!

We recently stopped in to Nonna‘s in Concord, New Hampshire upon recommendation from our family.. this one had us scratching our heads… Service was just so so even though the place was not really busy. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the core dishes. However when we asked for a bottle of Pellegrino she brought us a bottle of Peroni!? They market their pizza as brick oven and homemade dough, but the pizza crust tasted just like your typical fast food pizza restaurant...For an appetizer we had the cheesesteak eggrolls and they were great. For the other entrée we had a pesto pasta with Italian sausage. The pasta was great the sausage was great the pesto was a little bit overdone. Our waitress insisted that we try the limoncello tiramisu for dessert. She was not wrong there, a solid 10 out of 10, it could definitely hold its own against any place in the north end of Boston! Although this was a mixed bag we will try them again in the future and stick to pasta dishes maybe?

Recently stopped into Druthers Brewing in Albany, NY for lunch. The beer was cold and great. And for an appetizer we had the pretzel bites and beer cheese, they were great. For entrées we had the smash burger and chicken sandwich. Everything was hot and fresh. The Smashburger came with onion strings which were very chewy and a little rubbery. The chicken sandwich was just mid.. We’ll try them again in the future, or maybe one of the other locations in upstate New York. We’re not ready to write them off just yet!

On a recent trip up the coast of Maine, we stopped in to a swanky little joint on the Point in Camden named Salt Wharf. We sat at the bar so we could interact with the barkeep and watch our food being prepared in the open kitchen. The hostess, our barkeep and all of the waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable. Exactly what we like to see! The food was all great, so there’s no need to give you individual ratings. We started with Parmesan truffle fries and a dozen of oysters as our appetizer. For our meals, which were both recommendations of one of the waitresses, we had the halibut, and the house burger with fries. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection! The prices were comparable with anything else in Camden, and we got every penny’s worth in quality. We will definitely be back here next time we’re in the Camden area. Kudos to the staff and the owners, it’s nice to know there are still places that value your business, and deliver quality!

On a very recent trip to the coast of Maine, we stopped in at Lobster Cove on Long Sands in York. We have been here a handful of times over the years. Today the service was very good. The clam chowder was disappointing for Maine! It was hot but bland, it was pasty and had some kind of seasoning on top, old Bay?!
The captains platter was good but the portion size was less than average. The prices were on the high side so we expected a lot more from them, especially given our past visits. We may or may not be back to this place in the future!..

We stopped into The Cork N Keg Grill in Raymond NH again. This time it was a mixed experience…

Let’s start with the good news.
The service was top notch! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, no flies on her! Our entrées were hot fresh and tasted delicious. The only exception was the french fries. They were old and lukewarm at best. We had some spicy chicken wings as an appetizer and although they tasted great they were more like chicken bites than wings.

Overall it was a good experience so we will definitely give them another shot in the future.
