Here's a well-installed MAXI 12 air handler for the VRV air conditioning system. Our techs fabricated custom plywood knees which fit the hull shape and provided a stable platform for the rest of the system installation. Due to a high static pressure blower, and an electronic expansion valve (EEV), it can move high-velocity air past its super cold coil, resulting in a tiny package with 12K BTU of cooling capacity. 🥶

Phil poses next to a new Whisper Power Piccolo 4 generator! It's only 150 lbs and is used exclusively to charge a lithium battery pack. The onboard air conditioning stays on 24 hours daily by running on power stored in these batteries. When the charge gets low, this compact generator is started to put the juice back in!

TJ is in the process of installing a new VRV 25 Air Conditioning compressor in a 65' Little Habor sailing yacht at Safe Harbor Great Island Boatyard. Installing the VRV 25 compressor requires precise skills and specialized tools. Here you can see TJ carefully guiding the compressor into place. Once the installation is complete, the yacht can enjoy the comfort of air conditioning with minimal power usage from the onboard lithium battery bank.
