Endlessly charming. Sometimes washed.

Slab Spring Roster of 2026.

Unless you live under a rock, you already know that the slang term for a pedicab driver in Boston is a “slab.”

While our numbers increase as the summer goes on, there’s something especially charming about the slabs that ride springtime.

This is perhaps the cleanest we will ever be.

Bring on the summer sweat soot!

LET’S ROLL!

One giant gold balloon smashed someone’s prime rib and asparagus.

Otherwise it was just typical pedicab mischief as usual. You know: riding INDOORS!

Our amazing friends at once again entrusted their rugs to our wheels and brought us onboard to add fun to the 20th Annual Dunkin’ Joy In Childhood Foundation’s Gala fundraiser.

raises money to bring joy to children facing the challenges of hunger and disease. So, as fellow “joy-bringers” we were flattered to be part of the effort!

And we didn’t pop any gigantic balloons.

“DON’T HIT IT!”
“Think of the client!”
“JENNNNN!!!”

None of us “go to Harvard,” but we still sometimes go to Harvard.

We pedicab drivers were flattered and honored to be part of the rowdy celebration of the ’s 150th birthday!

What better way to get from the historic Harvard Lampoon building over to the Charles River to blow stuff up than to get there on a fleet of pedicabs, right?

(Disclaimer: we promised we weren’t the ones blowing stuff up.)

Happy birthday to a Cambridge institution and a national treasure! Happy 150th birthday, Harvard Lampoon!

And all this time you thought we couldn’t barely count to 12!

2025 was another year full of pedicab driver mischief and cool rides all-around the Boston area. Some moments were predictable, others classical random as only slabs can create.

Slabs are slabs; one part accidental slob (it’s a dirtier job than you realize), one part classic cabby (with all the colorful and quirky character that means), we are masters of making a place less boring.

We love Boston.
We get psyched to be out there.
We own the mood on these streets.

All eleventeen months of the year!

Crap.

Ignore that thing we just said about knowing how to count. May or may not have been an exaggeration…

Spam because we need you to not be screw up the holiday thing.

Seriously, when you get them a prepaid pedicab ride or tour, you’re literally giving them the whole city of Boston.

Or you can just give them, like, socks. You’re call.

Available in any value to fit your gift-giving budget, TrikeHub gift rides apply towards the value of any ride or tour they want, to literally anywhere in Boston.

Their imagination is the only limit to how awesome this gift is. (That and a bunch of laws of physics.)

Give them the gift of never being boring. It’s what they always wanted, and it’s guaranteed to fit!

Can we just go back? Or fast forward?

We need to warm this obnoxiously cold November with some tricycle romance.

(Or at least with being the personal shuttle for a happy young couple…)

That was nimble.

The last Boston Open Streets of 2025 was just as inspiring as the first one a few years ago. That inaugural day was in Jamaica Plain way back when, and so it was cool to close the season in that beloved neighborhood once again!

And of course, all us pedicab drivers were running the course and adding to the vibes. Jamaica Plain Open Streets is the longest of all of them, so while we’re in it for the fun, we were definitely needed for the transportation too.

Endless thanks to the tireless brilliance of the staff of , including Ms. Bryant herself, for always keeping the trikes rolling to ensure these days stay brilliant.

We’re excited to have the continually support our community of small businesses (every driver is, after all, a tiny, individual Boston entrepreneur), and grateful that ’s office continually secures our role among Boston’s key “street level ambassadors.”

So while the pedicabs will roll all year (yes, we come out here and there in the winter!), we put this year’s Open Streets program to bed. See you on the courses next summer!

HONK! all you want, we’re not going anywhere.

Nothing says fall in Cambridge and Somerville like the annual Parade and the Oktoberfest!

And nothing keeps parades in Boston mischievous like when your group hires us pedicab drivers to roll along!

Special thanks to the beloved Mayor Simmons of for once again bringing us into her rolling entourage!

Keep HONKing, friends!

Sometimes we even take showers!

But seriously, Boston has one of the most vibrant and cohesive pedicab drivers communities in the nation. That’s not an exaggeration.

In Boston, the drivers enter cooperate. It’s not a competitive job; it’s a teamwork project.

The only city in America, where the pet cabs regularly go nearly the ENTIRE city. We’re not just stuck in one or two districts; by working together, we even get to the remote corners of the city. We’re just that committed to making sure Boston is never boring!

We don’t take ourselves too seriously of course. After all, our nickname is “slabs.” (That’s the combination of “cab” and “slob,” by the way.) How could you be too serious when you’re a grown adult on a giant rumbling tricycle?

But even though our core community values of humor and mischief means we often bust each other’s chops, we nonetheless value our community.

We’re proud that, for decades in greatest city in America, we have been a model of what a strong community of individual labor contractors can look like when operating cooperatively.

So yeah, in Boston, we’re not just “fun taxis.” (Although we’re that too if you want us to be!)

Tours. Events. Weddings. Parties. Parades.
We’re so much more than many might assume.

We’re parents.
We are professionals.
We’re ambassadors.
We’re comics.
We’re teachers.
We’re tour guides.
We’re occasionally obnoxious.
We’re perpetually lovable.

We’re the slabs of Boston.
We’re the drivers of the pedicabs in the Hub.

And we’re proud to always be making sure Boston is never boring.

NO idea who that one kid on the end is, though.

Some of the 2025 pedicab All Stars on a 20-pedicab call this past week.

While the are winding up at for the season, we pedicab drivers are actually revving up for our OTHER big season.

Fall is actually a busy time for trikes in Boston. Between leaf-peepers, cruise ships, and at , Halloween, Octoberfests, and holiday events, the end of summer simply means we switch gears.

And sometimes we get called on for a massive party ride. Boston is one of the only pedicab communities where all the drivers work together to create better opportunities for you to enjoy the city.

Even if we got no idea who that one kid on the end is.
