The Office of County Supervisor Paloma Aguirre, in partnership with the Office of Emergency Services, is now doing an El Niño Preparation Meeting for the unincorporated District 1 communities of Bonita-Sunnyside, Lincoln Acres, and Spring Valley. We promoted this event a few days ago on our page.

This meeting will provide vital resources and information on emergency planning, acquiring sandbags, and navigating disaster response.

Sweetwater Woman’s Club was invited by her office to set up a community table! Thanks Board Members Ana Rosa and Anita Cowley!

Event Details:
Date & Time: Tuesday, October 13th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The Sweetwater Woman’s Club was thrilled to present a $2,000 check to Victory Resource Center in Chula Vista at our recent luncheon.

Victory Resource Center supports local women, families, and babies by providing essential items such as diapers, formula, baby food, clothing, and supplies, along with referrals for housing, counseling, medical and dental care, legal assistance, job training, and other community resources. https://victoryresourcecenter.org/about-us

These funds were raised during our fun Bunco afternoon. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this donation possible—and thank you, Victory Resource Center, for all you do for our community! 💕

So much fun at our monthly general meeting and luncheon featuring a Day of the Dead theme! Día de los Mu***os is a Mexican tradition honoring and remembering loved ones who have passed, celebrating their lives with colorful decorations, meaningful traditions, food, and love.

We proudly celebrated the many faces of the Sweetwater Women’s Club - a beautiful reflection of diversity, friendship, community, charity, and love among our members. We welcome everyone!
