🌟 What a fantastic afternoon at the Sweetwater Woman’s Club Bunco Fundraiser!🎲✨

From lively games of Bunco to exciting silent auctions and raffles, the energy was electric! The rowdy crowd brought the fun, all while supporting two incredible local nonprofits helping our community: Victory Resource Center and the Greater San Diego Reading Association.

🌟 Sweetwater Woman’s Club is on the Move!🌟

In addition to our $3750 club donation, our club is making a difference by supplying some essential back-to-school items to nine out of the twelve high schools resource closets in the Sweetwater Union High School District! 🎒📚

A special shoutout to our dedicated club coordinator, Margaret Pena, who is hard at work distributing donated supplies to Hilltop High School and Castle Park High School. Together, we’re ensuring that our students have some of what they need to succeed this school year! 💪✨

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this important cause and to Margaret Pena for organizing our drive. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💚

We are grateful to the Old Globe Theatre at Balboa Park for donating theatre tickets to our silent auction during Bonita Holidays and Craft Show to raise money for our scholarship and philanthropy programs!

The Old Globe has a long-standing history of excellence in theatrical artistry, but our work also lives beyond the stage. We take theatre to places where it's seldom seen, engaging with the people in our community, touching lives, and lifting spirits with our transformational arts engagement program...

🌟 Exciting news! Our Sweetwater Woman’s Club Board Meeting is set for Tuesday, September 8, at 10:30 AM (just a reminder that Monday is Labor Day!).

And our General Meeting will have a special theme: Rosie the Riveter! 💪✨ Time to wear your jeans, bandanas (we will hand them out at the meeting) and some fun! Lead Hostess is Ana Rosa Munoz.

We also have our clothes drive on September 10 to distribute to multiple local nonprofits. Club members Robin Taylor and Gloria Pickel are organizing the clothes drive.

Looking forward to seeing our members and guests at the General Meeting and celebrating our strong community spirit! 🛠️

Had a fantastic time today at the Sweetwater Woman’s Club Breakfast Mixer at Chandelier in Bonita! 🌟 The atmosphere was vibrant, and the company was even better. It's always a joy to connect with such a wonderful community. Can't wait for the next event! 🥳
