Whale of a stocking stuffer! 🐋This Humpback Whale with her calf is my most resent image turned into a peel off sticker. 🐋 With their numbers increasing, these gentle giants can be viewed from the shores of Point Reyes and nearby areas on their annual migration or simply while they’re feeding. These stickers are now in my on line shop. The link can be found on my bio.

These are recent 7” x 7 watercolor and colored pencil images I have been creating for an App. Called “Flock.” It is currently under construction but connects birders live time with their sightings and photos and videos… of them. That is just one of it features. Enjoy!

This cat named Tom lives at the Bolinas Grocery Store and pays me a visit at my gallery most days. It is fascinated by the sparrows on my live video feed out the back window… as you can see here! When it pays too much attention to the real live Sparrows then I blast it with my high powered sq**rt gun as I yell “Say HELLO to my lil friend!”

Growing up in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains stood to the east, beckoning me toward them with dramatic snow-capped peaks on clear winter and early spring mornings. Just as enticingly, early autumn evenings hosted ominous congregations of colossal thunderhea...

I nearly BLACKED out! This afternoon while Patricia and I were finishing up a delicious lunch she had prepared we had no idea dessert was about to be served up with this stunning male Black Scoter RIGHT off the deck. It’s likely been 20 years or so since I saw one of these handsome rare diving Ducks in the Bolinas Lagoon! So beautiful and it’s still there just sleeping away! Wonders never cease! .

While Patricia and I make our way back tomorrow, I wanted to just share some more images from our trip to Yucatan. There are images of an elderly Mayan woman who invited us into her kitchen, (her food was sublime) photo of Malu, Patricia’s mom, some cool cactus, orchids (tiny!!!) and our nieces Hanita, y Jade, pronounced “Haa-Day”. See yall back in BO!
