Where Are Those Wieners? Just a couple of Wieners loose on the highways of North America.
3 years on the road, collecting stories, laughs, and questionable GPS directions.

Buckle up — it’s gonna be a wiener of a ride! 🌭🗺️

🌭 Wieners rolled into Boise, Idaho after our trek from Coeur d’Alene and immediately settled into what might be the finest RV accommodations in town… The Peppers’ driveway. 😂 Full hookups, great company, and zero check-out time. Honestly, 10/10 would recommend “M & M RV Resort.” 🚐

It had been a few years since we’d seen the Peppers, so it was awesome catching up, swapping stories, and hanging out with their adorable beagles, Sunny and Oliver… who clearly run the property. 🐶🐶

While in Boise we:
🥾 Hiked
🚴 Biked
🍹 Beveraged
⚽ Went to a soccer game
🪚 Witnessed yet another chainsaw incident… although for once it had absolutely nothing to do with our RV. Progress. 🤣

Basically the holy trinity of RV life… with a side of mild danger.

We also got to visit Kristin and her cute little farm, which officially made me want chickens for at least 17 minutes. 🐓🤣

Then Janet and Mike Simko invited us over for dinner and treated us like absolute royalty. Seriously, the people in Idaho are making it very hard to leave.

We rolled out letting everyone know we’ll be back ASAP because we completely fell in love with this area. ❤️

BUT… like a feral sourdough starter with a mission, I’m now laser focused on getting to Coram, Montana (Glacier) to squeeze my daughter and grandbabies. 🌭💕

Adventure. Humor. Wieners.

🌭 Wieners rolled from Redmond, Oregon to Washougal, Washington… and Mother Nature chose violence. 💨🤣

The drive through The Dalles was so windy we were pretty sure the RV was about to qualify for a kite permit. The Columbia River had swells big enough to boogie board on and the wind surfers were absolutely living their best lives out there. Meanwhile, Ben had a death grip on the steering wheel and I was over here wondering if the Wieners were about to become airborne. 🌭🌬️

Once we landed safely in Washougal, we reunited with my high school girlfriend Debbie — who I haven’t seen since our 10-year reunion! ❤️ She and her fiancé Jimmie welcomed us onto their property… but apparently our RV entrance fee was “extreme tree trimming.” 🤣🌳

Jimmie fired up the chainsaw like a full-on Pacific Northwest lumberjack while Ben and Debbie worked branch control trying to keep limbs from scratching the RV. And me? I contributed emotional support and high-quality video footage from a very safe distance. 😂🎥

Honestly, if things had gone sideways, at least we would’ve had great content for Facebook. 🌭🤣

We also visited the amazing Bonneville Dam along the Columbia River. The fish ladders were fascinating… watching salmon fight their way upstream made me tired just looking at them. Upstream swimming? No thank you. I get annoyed when my Apple Watch congratulates me for climbing one flight of stairs. 🐟🤣

Then we stopped by the Columbia Gorge Museum and learned all about how the Gorge was formed. Super interesting… although I mostly retained: “Big floods. Giant cliffs. Very windy.” 😂

We also drove into Vancouver to see Patti at Who Song & Larry’s on the waterfront. Great food, great company, and of course it has basically rained nonstop ever since the Wieners rolled into Washington. 🌧️

Pretty sure Washington greeted us with:
“Welcome. Here’s your complimentary moisture.”

Next stop: Randall, Washington between Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens… because who wouldn’t want to spend quality time between two volcanoes? 🌋🤣

Pray for the Wieners. 🌭🤣
