Experienced Storage Facility Rental Clerk
We are a leader in mini-storage rentals in south Florida. We are seeking an experienced facility rental clerk to support our operation in Deerfield Beach, FL.
The scope of work includes maintaining all day-to-day operations, including assisting the manager with revenue, delinquency management, occupancy, maintaining cleanliness standards and customer service as required. Candidate will be leasing storage space to customers , informing customers of space availability, rental regulations, and rates. Candidate will assist customers in selection of storage unit size according to articles being stored . MS Office experience is a MUST; Database software experience a plus but not required.

3. Well organized and knowledge of basic accounting practices
4. Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with minimum direct supervision
5. Effective communicator that works well with a team
6. Proficiency with Word, and Outlook
7. Must have impeccable local reputable references
Responsibilities will include;
• Answering phones and greeting customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Maximizing conversion of telephone and walk-in inquiries into rentals
• Making collections on past due accounts, posting payments and processing bank deposits accurately
• Accurately handling cash and balancing receipts
• Knowing and presenting the features and benefits of the property at all times
• Resolving customer problems timely and effectively
• Maintaining accurate documentation for each tenet including lease contracts, address, ect
• Knowledge of company policy and procedures
• Show and rent self storage units as well as actively sell and maintain supplies of moving and packing materials
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe and secure facility including minor maintenance and custodial duties
• Assist in preparing units for auction, vacate as prescribed by law, and approved by management
