The Boca Raton Airport is publicly-owned by the State of Florida. The Airport's one runway 5/23 is 6,276 feet long and 150 feet wide, with safety overruns.

The Boca Raton Airport is publicly-owned by the State of Florida and is designated as a general aviation transport facility. It is located on 214 acres in Boca Raton off of I-95 between Spanish River Boulevard and Glades Road. Taxiways are 40 feet wide. There are an average of 295 based aircraft at the Airport with 125 T-Hangars available. There is a FAA Contract Tower located on the field, opened

from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily. The average annual operations are over 50,000. The Airport serves the corporate, recreational and flight training needs of the community. It's mission is to provide a safe and secure environment to the users of the airport, sub-tenants and throughout all of the Airport's general aviation facilities.

Our Executive Director, Clara Bennett, recently joined fellow aviation executives at the Airports Conference of the Americas for a breakout session focused on industry collaboration and innovation.

Moderated by CEO/Director of Aviation Mark Gale, the roundtable brought together airport and airline executives from across the region, including representatives from Travel Bahamas, Grantley Adams International Airport, and American Airlines.

We’re proud to contribute to conversations that help strengthen partnerships and advance the aviation industry throughout the Americas.

We're excited to share that Boca Raton Airport now has three FAA-certified in-house drone pilots on staff!

Business Manager Florence Straugh, Operations and Program Manager Robert Pratt, and Operations Director Travis Bryan have each earned their FAA Remote Pilot certification. The team has also recently acquired a new drone to support their work here at BCT.

Having an in-house drone program allows us to support a wide range of airport functions, from aerial inspections and infrastructure assessments to capturing the day-to-day activity that makes BCT such a unique place.

We're proud of Florence, Robert, and Travis for their commitment to expanding their skill sets and bringing this capability in-house.

This month, we welcomed Leadership Boca to The Boca Raton Airport for Economic Development Day. It was a great opportunity to share what goes on behind the scenes here at our Airport, from our day-to-day operations to the broader economic impact general aviation has on our community.

The group gained firsthand insight into the important role BCT plays in supporting business activity throughout Palm Beach County and the greater South Florida region.

We're grateful to Leadership Boca and the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce for including us in their program.
