The Boca Raton Airport is publicly-owned by the State of Florida. The Airport's one runway 5/23 is 6,276 feet long and 150 feet wide, with safety overruns.

The Boca Raton Airport is publicly-owned by the State of Florida and is designated as a general aviation transport facility. It is located on 214 acres in Boca Raton off of I-95 between Spanish River Boulevard and Glades Road. Taxiways are 40 feet wide. There are an average of 295 based aircraft at the Airport with 125 T-Hangars available. There is a FAA Contract Tower located on the field, opened

from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily. The average annual operations are over 50,000. The Airport serves the corporate, recreational and flight training needs of the community. It's mission is to provide a safe and secure environment to the users of the airport, sub-tenants and throughout all of the Airport's general aviation facilities.

The Boca Raton Airport is proud to partner with Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital to welcome the Kathryn Krickstein Pressel MammoVan on Tuesday, October 6.

The mobile 3D mammography unit will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Boca Raton Airport Authority Administration Building, located at 903 NW 35th Street, offering a convenient way to complete your annual screening.

With back-to-school season in full swing, we’re helping build the future of aviation, which begins with education and community engagement.

Our Airport partners with local schools and organizations to support aviation learning opportunities, facility tours, and youth engagement programs. Through initiatives such as our Kids Corner and educational outreach, we aim to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.

The Airport's Electrical Master Plan is now complete, marking an important milestone in planning for the future of our electrical infrastructure as the Airport continues to grow.

The plan evaluated current electrical infrastructure and identified future needs, including emergency power, aging equipment, storm resiliency, and opportunities tied to electrification and sustainability. It also outlines where upgrades may be needed to support safe, reliable operations in the years ahead.

The next phase will focus on implementing the plan by prioritizing critical improvements, exploring funding opportunities, and completing upgrades in a phased and strategic way. We look forward to sharing more as these projects move forward!

The groundbreaking work conducted on the grounds where The Boca Raton Airport now stands supported the Allied war effort by advancing radar training and technology, helping military personnel better detect, track, and protect against enemy aircraft.
