This 65 Searay has been keeping us BUSY here at Byrds Marine, with what started as some simple upgrades quickly turned into much more. We started with tackling a long list of survey findings, fine-tuning the navigation equipment, and replacing old A/V systems. From there, a full audio upgrade, added Apple TVs in every room, and a Starlink with multiple Ubiquiti access points.

The owner needed visibility, so we did a full IRIS camera system, controlled by their stainless touchscreen rotary dial. As well as many lighting upgrades, including all new exterior courtesy lighting and multiple spotlights for nighttime docking.

To wrap it up a new TV & soundbar for the Master stateroom, a Kenyon grill in the cockpit, and a security system for when the owner is away.

Start to finish on our 74 helm refit.

What does it take to build a dash housing 2 22s and a 17? Reinforced aluminum L brackets for added strength, everything through bolted with nylock nuts and fender washers, matching majilite material, lots of staples, and tons of patience.
