Happy Birthday to our guy Austin! One of the many blessings of collaboration with our family Thrive Mahoning Valley is having the mechanical expertise of Austin to make sure our E-bikes are safe and ready to roll on a daily basis! Happy Birthday Austin from all of us at Bike Share Youngstown

***Help us unlock an extra $2,700 in funding for Pedal Forward! We are competing nationally with over 100 organizations for most money raised this week. Give as much as you can and invite everyone you know to donate before Aug. 17.***

Let's raise funds for Pedal Forward in celebration of Austin's birthday over the weekend!

Austin has been with our team as a bike tech since 2024. During the first year, he completed hundreds of hours as a volunteer to help us start what would become Pedal Forward. He has a talent and passion for fixing things and has personally repaired hundreds of bikes for our program and bike shop, trained multiple volunteers, and provided recommendations and consultations for some of our best customers. All to say: Austin's efforts have been integral to the success of Pedal Forward.

You can find Austin working on all kinds of bikes in our shop Monday-Wednesday. In addition to his work at Thrive MV, he is part of the team that maintains e-bikes for YoGo Bikeshare, a close community partner - further connecting his efforts to transportation equity and infrastructure advocacy across the Mahoning Valley and in Youngstown.

He loves riding his bicycle all over the Valley. Last week, he broke 1,000 miles this year on his bike "Liza"!

Your donation today means we have even more capacity to meet the demand for active transportation in our community.

Be part of it and celebrate Austin's birthday with us at www.rocketcommunitychallenge.com/organization/thrivemv

Winning the YBI Shark Tank Competition helped put YoGo Bikeshare on the map. The exposure, mentorship, and connections opened doors that continue to impact our organization today.

If you’ve got an idea that can make a difference, apply. One pitch could change everything just like it did for us.

Thank you, YBI, for investing in entrepreneurs and our community. 🚴🏾‍♂️🦈💙
