Need a break from the trails? Lake Blue Ridge is a beautiful way to slow down and enjoy the mountain views from the water. Rent a paddleboard, take out a kayak, or simply enjoy the lake for the afternoon.

Paddleboard or kayak — which would you choose?

We do still have a few summer dates available at The Owl’s Nest Cabin. Check availability through the link in our bio. 🦉

We finally get to share the surprise! ♨️

Earlier this week we hinted that something exciting was arriving at The Owl's Nest… and now it's ready.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at replacing our hot tub—from removing the old spa to setting the new one in place.

We can't wait for our guests to enjoy a relaxing soak with mountain views like these.

Which would you choose:
🌅 Sunrise soak or ✨ stargazing at night?

07/08/2026

Guess what that is…. Something exciting happened at The Owl’s Nest Cabin today. Come back tomorrow to see all about it.

What is keeping you from a relaxing start to your morning?

07/07/2026

Chocolate, graham crackers, toasted marshmallows, and mountain views... some combinations are hard to beat. 🍫🔥

Save this for your next Blue Ridge getaway, and tell us—are you Team S'mores or Team Toasted Marshmallows?

Some of the best Fourth of July celebrations don't need fireworks at all. Sometimes the best show is a mountain sunrise, a cup of coffee, and a little peace before the day begins. Happy Independence Day from The Owl's Nest Cabin!
