Wondering what you'll be hearing at Rock the Boat End of Summer Blues this Saturday? Here's a little bit about each of the bands.

The Blood Orange Martinis are a hard-driving blues trio with a uniquely old-school sound reminiscent of fifties and sixties Chicago-style bands. Check out their website: http://thebloodorangemartinis.com/

The Bad Daddys have been a Maine blues stronghold since 2005. The strong character of this band comes through with a chemistry for that sharp and gritty sound that sizzles and burns. Check out their website: http://www.baddaddysband.com/

David Raitt and The Maine Line offers an eclectic, groove-based sound that cuts across boundaries with a mixture of country, blues, rockabilly, West Coast swing, and folk. Check out their website: http://mainelineband.com/

Rock the Boat with End of Summer Blues this Saturday, September 19th at Boatyard Grill in Blue Hill!

2pm - The Blood Orange Martinis
4pm - The Bad Daddys
6pm - David Raitt and The Maine Line

The brewmaster from Strong Brewing will be joining us with featured beers. A limited menu will be available from Boatyard Grill. Admission is $20 and the door opens at 1pm, rain or shine. See you there!

Great news! Our End of Summer Blues celebration on Saturday, September 19th will feature beers by Strong Brewing. The owners/beermasters will be on hand to talk about their brews and they will have merchandise available. Here's what we're pouring:

Hangar a Bateaux- A light, easy drinking summer Saison with a slightly spicy Belgian yeast profile. 5.5% abv.

Localmotive- A California common style beer. A pale and hoppy thirst quencher brewed with Maine grown pale malt and generous additions of Cascade hops. 5% abv.

Soulpatch Porter-A delicious robust porter deep and rich with roasted malt and chocolate notes. 6% abv.

Doors open at 1pm and music starts at 2pm. Tickets are $20 and are available at the door on via EventBrite.com.
