✨WATAUGA WEDNESDAYS✨

Watauga Wednesdays are back! This is a discount day we offer for local residents of Watauga, Ashe, and Avery County residents to receive half off your boat rentals (up to 3 boats) every Wednesday of the season. Make sure to bring something with your name and local address to receive the discount. Please note we are putting a cap of 3 boats per party for the discount this year because we are also offering our discounted flat rate all season.

📣 UPDATED PRICING 📣

Hey friends! Due to the ongoing paving project in our area of the Parkway, it’s now going to take most of you a little longer to get to us. Although this doesn’t seem to be keeping y’all away, we’d like to thank you for your kindness by continuing our flat rate for the entire season. Instead of our hourly rate, we will only charge the first hour price regardless of how long you stay out.

Tandem kayaks & Canoes: $30
Single kayaks, fishing kayaks, & SUPs: $20

We do ask everyone to be mindful of how long you stay out on busier days so that everyone gets a turn at paddling on Price Lake. 🛶

Well friends, we made it! We’re finally open 7 days a week, including holidays! We will be open daily from 10am-6pm with the last rental at 5. We will be offering our AStUesday and Watauga Wednesday discount days again this year, and those will start this coming week. So come rent a boat, grab a snack, or just hang 😎

Not only were we lucky enough to see the jets fly over the valley from Yadkin Valley Overlook on the Parkway this morning but we got to see them twice! So cool to see them this low. Sound up! 🔊

Due to sections of the parkway being closed for paving, there are currently detours in place to access Price Lake. Access points will be altered as the project proceeds over the next few months, but Price Lake will always remain accessible from one point or another. As of today, 4/10/26, you can get to Price Lake from Blowing Rock by taking HWY 221 from downtown to the Sandy Flats entrance onto the parkway. If you’re coming from the Linville area, you can take HWY 221 and turn at the Holloway Mountain Rd. entrance. The Parkway crew has done a great job with detour signs to access our area of the park. We’re so excited and thankful for the funding from The Great American Outdoors Act to restore the parkway road and we will update this as information changes. Does this warmer weather have anyone else dreaming of summer on the lake? 😅 Luckily, it’s not too far away! Opening day for our 2026 season is Friday, April 3rd at 11am! We will be open Friday-Sunday 11am-6pm April 3-May 22 and then we will be open daily starting May 23 🚣‍♀️
