Maple logs from trees cut this spring before they had leaves. Been growing stems & leaves on the logs here at the sawmill. Per the end cut looks like they will make nice Ambrosia Maple boards & planks.

Got logs? This is one large white pine tree cut into seven 10' long logs. We will custom saw them to lumber per instructions from the land owner who had Susquehanna Tree Care remove the tree and load the logs headed to the sawmill.

Raised beds made of 2x6 and 4x4 Larch lumber from logs harvested here on our farm. These were trees that I helped plant as a 4H project in my youth. The raised bed project is by Seeds of the Future, a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Catawissa, Pennsylvania, founded by Rohrbach's Farm. Their mission is to provide children and families with agricultural, food, and farming-based learning events, focusing on outdoor education, nutrition, and where food comes from. The children helped with assembly of the garden beds. How fitting that the lumber is a result of a 1960's 4H youth tree planting project. Carr's Sawmill is glad to have a hand in the project teaching a new generation.
