Thank you Lt. Governor Strinden!

Great to welcome aviation leaders from across the country to North Dakota for the 2026 NASAO Annual Conference and share our state’s vision for the future of aviation, innovation and economic growth.

Aviation and aerospace generates billions in annual economic output in North Dakota and support nearly 29,000 jobs. We’re building on that strong foundation through the groundbreaking work of the Northern Plains UAS Test Site and the Vantis network. This infrastructure is positioning North Dakota as a national leader in advanced aviation and can be scaled to support safe, innovative operations in other states.

As aviation technology continues to evolve, North Dakota remains committed to advancing innovation while maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Thank you to the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission for your dedication to advancing aviation across our state and for your leadership in bringing this important national conference to North Dakota.
