Just back from Departure Lounge Exchange (DLX) 2026, our host agency’s annual gathering and one of my favorite weeks of the year!
DLX is a busy few days spent with some of the very best hoteliers, tour operators, cruise partners, and destination experts we work with every day. We spend much of the week across the table from them, learning what’s changed, what’s coming next, and how we can work together to take the very best care of our clients. These relationships are such an important part of what we do. We’re learning the details that matter, from which rooms to request and new experiences worth knowing about, to who we can call when our clients need something special. Having trusted partners around the world makes a real difference in the trips we plan and the care our clients receive.
When we aren’t in our one-on-one meetings, we’re sitting in on fascinating panels (including one comparing the yachts from Orient Express, Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, and Aman!), hearing from speakers like Lauren LaForge, or catching up with some of our favorite people in the travel industry.
DLX is one of the most valuable weeks of our year. And reconnecting with so many wonderful friends and partners from around the world makes it that much more fun!
