Whether youre a professional moving laborer or using your own rented truck, safety is very important. It is very easy to injure yourself by misstepping while carrying something, and the street and the fender are unmerciful.

Whenever possible, a good tip is to start walking up the ramp from the very bottom where it meets the street. Sidestepping up onto a ramp can cause a slipping, or tripping failure.

Also, its best to put the ramp all the way up where it meets the truck, with the stabilization pegs placed into the appropriate holes. It eliminates a big trip factor that can easily be overlooked while moving items into (or out of) the truck.

When packing bed frame slats: it is usually best to stack pairs with the inside in & the outside out - and then wrapped in a furniture pad. When the outsides are against each other, as in the "wrong" picture, a SINGLE grain of sand can leave scratches or gorges in the finish, defacing a bed frame slat in new condition.

We work with independent contractors and companies that are experienced with Moving Labor, and able to maintain our professional level of service.

Experienced Moving Labor Service Personnel should be familiar with Moving Labor and safe, proper ways to load and/or unload a truck of a customer's household goods and furniture. We need can-do Service Personnel that have the gusto and professionalism to properly perform the physical aspects of a move, all the while leaving the customer with a five-star, positive experience.

Applicants should have:

- patience and communication - enough to work safely in tandem with a teammate
- drivers license and reliable means of transportation
- smartphone (cellphone) with GPS, photo, and SMS (text) capabilities
- basic tools and knowledge how to use them
- experience using a dolly or other moving equipment
- the knowledge of how to move large sized furniture safely into and/or out of homes without damaging items or property
- a clean criminal record (background check)

Our customers provide moving trucks and furniture pads.

Our service personnel are expected to supply Moving Labor, as well as any other tools, supplies, or equipment needed for a successful move (without charging the customer extra for these supplies). Ex. plastic wrap, rope, appliance dolly when needed
