Some people see junk and some of us know the value beyond the dollar in these projects. Seeing these neglected gems back in the water making souls happy is rewarding

Sunday of Labor Day weekend 2026, and Horn Island is pure magic. Cool breeze, clear water, and unbeatable coastal camaraderie with the Whaler crew on the sand. Living life on "Whaler’’ terms out on the island.

Sunday afternoon Horn Island was beautiful, i saw and talk to a few Boston Whaler captains that didn't know about the club. They said they would check it out and look forward to joining the next event

Biloxi Boston Whaler Club: Inaugural Run Recap & Labor Day Outlook
Our inaugural meetup brought 15 Boston Whalers together at Deer Island, proving Coastal Mississippi is ideal for this community. The run to Horn Island showed the value of running in a flotilla, giving smaller hulls the confidence to tackle open water together. Local waterfront venues have welcomed our dock-and-dine presence, and we are laying the groundwork for official partnerships and future runs.
Inaugural Meetup Highlights
Turnout: 15+ Boston Whalers and many Brand enthusiasts gathered at West Sandy Point, Deer Island at 10:00 AM to get to know each other and celebrate the brand and the boats
Horn Island Run: Flotilla format provided open-water safety and es**rt for smaller hulls crossing the Sound.
Dock-and-Dine Support: Strong response from local waterfront establishments ready to host future club dock-ups.
Community Focus: Connecting local owners, newcomers, and visitors through shared marine passion.
Labor Day Weekend Outlook
Official Schedule: No formal club itinerary due to work commitments following the launch week.
Pop-Up Opportunities: Informal meetups remain active based on local conditions.
Protected Routes: Ocean Springs Harbor launch provides easy access to bayous, Biloxi Bay, and Deer Island sandbar even in chop.
Open Water Potential: Horn Island remains viable depending on wind; Ship Island runs are on the radar for experienced hulls when conditions align.
Support the club by following our pages so we can secure local venue sponsorships and expand group events.

Horn Island Run & Labor Day Weekend on the Water
Taking the Boston Whaler flotilla out across the Middle Grounds to Horn Island last weekend was well worth the sporty crossing.
While there are no official Biloxi Boston Whaler Club events on the schedule for Labor Day weekend, plenty of Whalers will be out on the Mississippi Sound. Bart will be running his 15 Sport, dropping in on the Deer Island beach gathering, running out to the barrier islands for some socializing, and wetting a line.
If you see the 15 Sport on the water, flag him down and say hello. We are always looking to connect with local Whaler owners as word of the club continues to spread across the coast.

The Bayou Restaurant and Tiki Bar is a lively, tasty spot with courtesy boat slips that truly supports our local boating community. Owner Jason has officially rolled out the VIP welcome for the Biloxi Boston Whaler Club, backing our mission to bring boaters together to share a love for the water. Support businesses that support boaters and provide great dockside access. Next time you cruise Davis Bayou, tie up at The Bayou and show some love. The Bayou Restaurant & Tiki Bar

Boston Whalers of every size, vintage, and model showed up in full force for the Biloxi Boston Whaler Club’s inaugural meet and greet.
Huge shoutout to Captain Everett and his family for rolling out to the islands in the mothership to back the flotilla. From flying the club flags to rocking the gear, having dedicated families out on the sand is what turns a simple boat run into a real community.
Appreciate Captain Everett and the entire crew for showing up big and representing the legend right.
