ISTATE TRUCK CENTERS ANNOUNCE MAJOR EXPANSION

Product Line Additions and New Facility Plans

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, AUGUST 13, 2019 – Interstate Companies. Inc., a growing industrial conglomerate headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its partnership with Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), as well as plans for multiple new facilities.

Effective immediately, Interstate Companies’ IState Truck Centers division has added DTNA’s Western Star Trucks line to their facilities in Missoula, MT; Great Falls, MT; Billings, MT; Bismarck, ND and Sioux City, IA. They also announced that they have added the new Freightliner Econic product to their lineup, and will be one of the first dealerships in the United States to support the Econic at launch.

In order to better support this growth and expansion, IState also formally announced plans for an upgraded facility in Missoula, MT. This new facility will be a significant upgrade to its current facility, and is scheduled to be open early in 2021. In addition to the expansion in Montana, IState also announced its plans to open a brand new facility in Rogers, MN. The Rogers facility will be a net new location for IState, designed to provide sales, service and parts support for customers in the growing northwest suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

These moves follow significant expansion in 2018 through the acquisition of a Freightliner dealership in Bismarck, ND (formerly Trucks of Bismarck), Western Star dealerships in Marshfield, Madison and Prentice, WI (formerly V&H, Inc. Trucks), and expansion of its AssemblySystems business in Wisconsin and Kansas.

We are also genuinely excited to be a supporting part of the Freightliner Econic launch.” said Travis Penrod, CEO of Interstate Companies. “Finally, we continue our ongoing commitment to our customers, employees, and the communities we serve by significantly upgrading our location in Missoula as well as adding new capacity in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. When complete, the Rogers, MN expansion will bring us to 13 dedicated facilities for IState Truck Centers, and will be our 37th building overall.”
