A guy working alone in a shop gets a lot of time to think.
One thing I ponder on is if I wasn't doing THIS, what would I do?? In 20 years I have never had an alternative answer. Never been able to come up with something that'd give me the amount of satisfaction that my job provides. Never coveted another man's vocation. Think about it.... In my profession, I get to do something many people can only dream of. Touch horsehide and leather on any given day. Build something tangible from the ground up. Use my skill and creativity outside of the boundaries of corporate America.

I regularly work long nights, frustrating days, and have few holidays. I finished one at noon today and started another an hour later. But this is my chosen profession and most importantly to me, it's MINE. Every inch of it....

It is very rare that we have one of our used saddles to sell, however today is that day. It's not often they come on the market.

Fully tooled with a shell stamp, this saddle was new (built here in the shop by Ross Brunk) in 2011. It won the "Best Tooling" division in it's class at the Boot and Saddle Makers Roundup in Wichita Falls, TX that same year. Included is a picture of it new.

The client cowboyed out of it, but due to life circumstances has decided to part with it. It comes complete with a matching pulling collar, bucking rolls, 24" tapaderos, a set of matching saddle pockets built by Kings Saddlery in Sheridan Wyoming and a nice set of braided rawhide hobbles. It has been thoroughly cleaned, oiled and has not been abused.

Call or message for pricing. All reasonable offers will be entertained. He wants to move it, and we want to make a screaming Christmas deal for the next owner.
