As a fleet diesel mechanic you will be responsible for:
• Performing inspections on equipment; report mechanical issues and problems to shop management.
• Having the knowledge and/or ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain our heavy duty trucks and trailers - suspension/hydraulic system, air brake systems, and electrical systems.
• Communicating effectively to ensure efficient repair and diesel fleet mechanic performance.

Requirements of Diesel Fleet Mechanic:
• Must possess basic mechanic tools as required to work on class 8 trucks (heavy duty)
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
• At least 2 years experience
• Pay rate $25-$35 an hour based on experience.
• Health, dental, vision available after 30 days. Company paid short/long term disability and life insurance.
• Annual Years of Service Bonus
• Paid Holidays
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 to 5:00, Saturdays on occasion

As a Heavy Haul Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of oversize and overweight loads across the country.

This includes:

Obtaining required permits, routing, scheduling, and communicating with drivers and customers.
Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Pay rate based on experience.

We are looking to fill a few driving positions including local and OTR throughout different divisions.

We have 2 local Pneumatic tank positions available. One position would be home every night and the other would be home on the weekends.

We also recently expanded our open deck division and added a couple of Ag lowboys. We are looking for a couple of OTR drivers to fill these positions. This would be a 5 axle position and would be a great way to get some experience, and eventually move up to the Heavy Haul division and to a 7 or 8 axle RGN.

This position will:

· Act as a driver liaison by having a broad and deep understanding of Straitline's driver process, policies, and procedures.

· Assist and support the Safety Manager in the design, implementation, and assessment of programs focused on safety.

· Various administrative tasks that may include billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and/or payroll.

Knowledge of appropriate software is required including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Quickbooks experience is preferred.
