FARM HAND / MOWING CREW – (Sundays are short days)
*Driver’s License required*
IF YOU HAVE A CDL IT'S A PLUS
General Farm equipment machinery and lawn care experience is required. Must be drug free & dependable.
Tractor / skid steer / bucket loaders / pressure washer / log processor / mowing equipment / dump trucks / chain saws / string trimmers / backpack blowers
Duties to include:
Cows –
• Feed / Water / Hay Cows
• Assist with Medicating & general care of Cows
• Fence Repairs on pastures as needed
• Round up and load unload cows as needed
Hay season –
• Hay is mowed & baled by tractor & baler
• Gather / Stack / Store Hay (late nights will be required)
Mowing season –
• Mow properties for customers
• W**d trimming & control (Will work with w**d control chemicals)
• Hedge trimming on some properties (May encounter poison ivy / oak, etc.)
• Fuel / Oil mowers and trimmers as needed (General maintenance to keep in working order)
• Keep records of mowing’s and extra sprayings / lawn clean ups per day
Yard work at the office -
• Trash removal office / garage / yard lot and barns
• Cleaning office / bathroom
• Loading wood burner 2x a day
• Cleaning trucks as requested (including wash / wipe inside) *pressure washer use*
• Load stone / mulch / compost / dirt / hay for customers *skid steer & bucket loaders use*
Snow Season -
• Plow lots and spread salt for customers *trucks with plows & salt machines* (early morning and late nights will be required as needed during snow / ice events)
