To help you get ready for the new school year, we’re kicking off a series highlighting the bus routes that serve each high school in Bend.

Labor Day Service Closure

CET will not be operating fixed routes, Community Connectors, or Dial-A-Ride services on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

We will resume services on Tuesday, September 8th.

Ride the River, Transit to Trails, and Lava Butte shuttle services will operate on Labor Day for their final day of the summer season.

Have you seen our little blue benches? 👀

If you haven’t before, you might start to see these popping up all over town! We’ve installed over 50 of these seats at our bus stops in the past month as a part of our Bus Stop Improvement Plan.

We hope this makes your time waiting for us that much more comfortable.

Back to school is just around the corner. Need help getting kids to camp?

Whether your child is heading from school to Juniper Park, Pine Nursery Park, the library, an after-school activity, or somewhere else in Bend, CET can help get them there.

Plan your trip!

2. Enter the school or starting point

3. Choose your destination

4. Map your CET trip! CET will help you find the best route and connections to get there.

Using transit can give families another transportation option and help older students build confidence and independence along the way. Kids age 12 and over can ride independently.

CET serves almost every community across Central Oregon with Community Connector service, Fixed route system in Bend, Flex route system in Redmond, and Dial-A-Ride service in every community.

Getting Around Redmond with Cascades East Transit is easy!

Did you know CET offers several transportation options to help Redmond residents get where they need to go? Whether you’re traveling across town, commuting to another community, or heading to a medical appointment, there may be a CET service for you.

🔹 Redmond Flex Routes (2) – Convenient, flexible service for getting around Redmond and to RDM.
🔹 Dial-A-Ride – Curb-to-curb transportation available to the general public in Redmond—no eligibility requirements.
🔹 Community Connectors – Regional routes connecting Redmond with Bend, Madras, Prineville, Sisters and other Central Oregon communities.
🔹 Veterans Medical Transportation – Transportation to help eligible veterans access medical appointments.

Interested in making a meaningful impact on the future of transit in Deschutes County?

COIC/Cascades East Transit (CET) is seeking new members to join the Deschutes County STIF Advisory Committee. The committee helps guide how Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF) resources are prioritized to support and improve public transportation throughout Deschutes County.

Committee members have an opportunity to:
- Help identify and prioritize transit needs and investments
- Bring community perspectives to transportation planning
- Explore opportunities to better coordinate transit and regional transportation services
- Help reduce transportation gaps and improve mobility and access for - residents, employees, and visitors

We are looking for individuals who understand and care about local transportation needs and want to help create a more connected and accessible Deschutes County. Your perspective can help shape where public transportation goes next.

Join us at National Night Out in Redmond tomorrow, August 4th, 6-8PM at Centennial Park! Hosted by the City of Redmond Police Department (RPD), National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. The event is free to attend, including all family friendly activities, live performance by Precious Byrd, sno-cones, and a barbecue.

Service Alert! Due to the wildfires, Routes 20 and 21 will not provide service to Warm Springs today. Route 21 will continue to serve Indian Head Casino, Kah-Nee-Ta Resort, and Simnasho. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our riders and employees. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
