Weekend fishing report brought to you by Sophia! No fishing as the wife is working, we will be right back at it very soon! Was gonna fish this afternoon but that south wind has other plans for us! But for now I am enjoying my time at home with my daughter! Life is good!

Now is the time to get those tuna dates booked! A lot of dates are getting booked the last few days, also will be posting up a bunch of open boat dates for you open boat guys!

Back to belmar we go! Got the boat all ready for the remainder of the season, so we have a last minute open boat for tomorrow afternoon! Jumbo striped bass trip! Trip will leave the dock at 3pm and come back in around 9 or so! This is the time to crack that personal best! Give me a call and let’s go fishing!

It’s jumbo season! Solid afternoon chasing the XXL models, with fish to 49 inches! Thanks guys for a fun afternoon!

This mornings trip had a great group of guys hoping to find some dinner size fish, unfortunately we only boated 1 but it was a slot fish so that was good. Had some other bites that just never came tight. That’s fishing.

Boats getting pulled tomorrow for maintenance and a good cleaning before heading back to belmar for the remainder of the season. Gonna run out of there for the next couple of weeks for the big jumbo stripers and sea bass before the highly anticipated tuna season.

Be on the lookout for the next open boat!

Fun afternoon on the water, and the cows were snapping! A lot of PBs broke tonight! Thanks guys for a fun afternoon! Biggest fish of the night was 49inches! Fun stuff! No keepers so everyone’s eating pizza tonight, pizza tastes better anyway! 😉

Very good fishing this afternoon, easy limit
Of slots with plenty of releases. Guys were dialed in with the circle hooks and landed almost 95% of the bites they had. Thanks guys for a great afternoon! Always a good time with this crew!

Give me a call and let’s go fishing! Gonna bass fish for another couple weeks as long as they are around. Mix in some sea bass trips as well once the boat is moved back to shark river!

Very good fishing this afternoon! Nice box of keepers with a bunch of overs released. Took a little bit to get the guys dialed in on the circle hooks but once they did it was game on! Thanks guys, fun afternoon!

Did some cow tipping this afternoon, and also saw the first bluefish of the year! Had good fishing on the eels with fish to 49 inches!

Spring turkey season is officially over in NJ, I was lucky enough to kill this awesome gobbler. 21 pounds with 1 3/8 spurs and a 10inch beard! I entered him into turkey contest and tied with first place spur length for a $50 gift card as well as won a raffle for a free gun! Pretty cool! Thank you ! I highly recommend shopping at this store, they have everything from fishing tackle, to hunting products and everything else you could ever need! Awesome little farm store.

This weekend saw some very up and down fishing. Some trips were good and some trips flat out sucked. No sugar coating here. Yesterday morning saw solid fishing with some solid overs to 45 inches being brought to the boat. Definitely wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. The afternoon flat out sucked. Covered a lot of miles with nothing to show besides a stacked fish finder with fish that didn’t want to chew during slack tide, and when the tide started to move they vanished. Very frustrating and definitely the worst trip of the spring. This morning was solid. The crew landed a bunch of big overs to 44inches. Looks like a bunch of big fish pushed into the bay with the moon. Again no sugar coating here. Thanks to all the crews for fishing hard and having fun!

Give me a call and let’s go fishing! With the cold ocean right now I’m expecting to have solid bass fishing through mid June! We shall see!
