The owner has let the liability insurance lapse on the airport anticipating the sale of the land.

The airport is temporarily closed.
οΏΌPlease check NOTAMS.

It will be permanetly closed within 90’days.

Thanks to all that supported our small town airport and our community for all of these years!
It is still very sad to see these historic landmarks leave our towns to make way for developments and other things non aviation related… It is hard to believe that our county will no longer have one Public General aviation airport in it..
Maybe Austin County will develop a new one someday..

If you ever planned on flying to Bellville, Texas airport (06R), now might be your last chance!!
The airport has been sold and will become a residential neighborhood very soon. The airport will more than likely close in mid-March (estimated).
Hurry time is running out!

The Dreamliner Diner which is festively decorated and excited to serve you! The Dreamliner Diner is planning their soft opening for this Friday, December 17th. Airport tenants are welcome to once again begin dining at the Airport Diner. The restaurant will be open Wednesday – Sunday from 8am-5pm. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening will be announced with the Washington Chamber of Commerce at a later date.
