Bellingham Aviation Services (BAS) is a full-service fixed-base operator (FBO) located in Bellingham, Washington - 20 miles south of the Canadian border, 50 miles south of Vancouver, B.C. and 90 miles north of Seattle. BAS offers a wide range of services from fueling and flight instruction, to aircraft maintenance, avionics, retail sales and concierge services.

We don’t usually allow wildlife on the ramp… but for this Duck, we make exceptions.

Back in the day, the Grumman J2F Duck was the multitasker of the skies. Part floatplane, part taildragger, this biplane earned a reputation for showing up where no one else could. It took on everything from rescue missions to supply runs and even antisubmarine patrols in WWII. It rolled into BAS, and clearly, this Duck still knows how to make a splash 🦆

An icon of the skies and powerhouse of the pacific⚡️☠️

The F4U Corsair, introduced in 1940, became one of most legendary carrier-based fighters of WWII. Its inverted gull wings folded upward for carrier storage, and its powerful radial engine gave it unmatched speed. Its distinctive whistle in the skies gave it a fearsome reputation among enemy forces as ‘Whistling Death’.

This one will always be a favorite in our lineup!
