Recently in Bellingham, mailbox break-ins have become more common! On just September 2nd there was a break in where a thief pried open a box to be able to get inside! In
the past, Bellingham has even had to change the locks on mailboxes in hopes that it
could prevent this from happening, but as is evident, this has done little.
We bring this up not to cause worry, but to inform and reassure all of our mailbox customers that you can feel safe with your mailboxes behind locked doors, preventing any unwanted people from even reaching the front of your box!
