The Global Logistics Conference in Chicago last week delivered on every level! Between the educational speaker sessions and dedicated networking time, there was a constant flow of real conversations that actually mattered.

The evening events brought a whole different energy. From the Cubs rooftop to the city views at the Willis Tower, those moments gave everyone a chance to step away from the agenda and connect more naturally! It’s where a lot of the best conversations happened.

What stood out most was how people showed up throughout the week. Whether in sessions or outside of them, there was a level of engagement you don’t always see at events like this! And for the first GLC held outside of Seattle, it felt like a strong step forward and one that sets the tone for what comes next!

We are proud to have successfully hosted the Expeditors Italy Logistics Conference on May 19, 2026. With around 100 guests, the event was an excellent opportunity to connect with supply chain decision-makers and industry experts.

Our Regional Vice President Europe South East, Paolo Domante, facilitated the day, guiding us through five interactive sessions. The program featured a mix of front presentations on “AI in Supply Chain and Logistics” and “Trade Compliance,” as well as three engaging round tables focused on the ocean market, air market, and customs, led respectively by our Regional Ocean Manager, Paolo Sangalli, District Manager of Milan, Turin, and Bologna Giuseppe De Fazio, and Paolo Domante.

Our attendees included high-level managers from Ocean SSLs and Air Freight companies, as well as university professors specializing in customs, compliance, and AI. The exchange of ideas was vibrant throughout, and networking continued during our lunch and coffee breaks, where we saw genuine connections.

Thank you to everyone who participated. Together, we are shaping the future of logistics.
