Redz Aviation is for anyone interested in Flight Training (Part 61), Plane Rentals, Sightseeing and Aerial Photography!

Part 61 Flight Training refers to different parts of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) that set minimum standards for flight training. The advantages of a Part 61 Certificate are that it is on a one-on-one, customized basis and not necessarily career-oriented flight academy. The FAA has established the minimum number of flight hours needed to obtain a certificate. Under Part 61 of the Federal Aviation regulations, the minimums are 20 hours for sport pilot certificate, 30 hours for a recreational certificate and 40 hours for a private pilot certificate.
