The best trips aren’t just booked. They’re built over time. ✈️

I have clients traveling out West right now on a road trip from Big Sky to Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, and Cody, Wyoming for the rodeo. 🤠

We started planning their trip almost a year ago, and since then we’ve secured their accommodations, watched flights, mapped out their route, added horseback riding in the Tetons, grabbed their rodeo tickets, and built out all the little details along the way.

That’s the difference between simply booking a trip and planning one.

Starting early gives us more options for where you stay, how you fly, and those special experiences that can book up quickly.

✨ JUST QUOTED: An Alaska Northern Lights bucket-list trip!

Starting in Fairbanks, then heading out for 4 nights in a Sky View Igloo with nightly aurora alerts so they don’t miss the lights if they make an appearance. 😍

During the day they’ll be snowmobiling, dog sledding, meeting reindeer + enjoying all the Alaska winter things before finishing the trip at Chena Hot Springs. ❄️

The entire trip is built around giving them several chances to see the Northern Lights while still getting to really experience Alaska in the winter.

One of our favorite trips to date. 😍

We visited Banff at the end of September for our anniversary, and it honestly couldn’t have been a better time to go.

• Beautiful weather
• Everything was still open and easy to access
• Crowds were surprisingly low

That said… I truly don’t think there’s a bad time to experience this place. Every season has its own kind of magic.

If Banff isn’t on your travel bucket list yet, it should be. Canada is so incredibly underrated, and this trip completely exceeded every expectation we had. 🇨🇦✨

Travel Tip Tuesday ✈️

One of the easiest ways to make a trip feel better? Plan the recovery time—not just the activities.

Oof… and I am definitely talking to myself on this one because our family loves to pack it all in! 😂

It is so easy to focus on fitting in all the fun things:

-Park days
-Excursions
-Sightseeing
-Travel days
-Late dinners or special events

But every big activity takes energy, time, and attention. A few things to keep in mind when planning:

✨ Try not to stack your busiest days back to back
✨ Build in a slower morning when you need one
✨ Remember that travel days can be exhausting, too
✨ Leave room for a pool afternoon, easy dinner, or early night

A good itinerary is not just about how much you can fit in. It is about creating a trip that still feels fun and enjoyable by day three, four, and five.

Because sometimes the best thing you can add to the itinerary is a little breathing room.
