Travel Tip Tuesday: your cruise vacation starts before embarkation day. 🚢

If your cruise leaves on Saturday, I usually recommend arriving near the port on Friday whenever possible.

Flights get delayed. Connections get missed. Weather happens. Bags can get lost. Traffic can happen.

And unfortunately, the ship won’t wait.

That extra night gives you breathing room so you can wake up close to the port and start your cruise excited instead of stressed.

This is one of those things I wish more people knew. 🙂

A recent client had already booked their cruise, but still wanted help with excursions, flights, transfers and all the other details that come with the trip.

We were able to transfer their reservation to me at no additional cost, and I even got them additional onboard credit!

Now they have the same cruise they originally booked, plus someone to help with everything along the way.

There is still time to squeeze in a fun trip before the end of the year — whether that looks like Disney, a cruise, New York at Christmas, Universal, or a cozy mountain getaway.

And of course, these are just examples. Dates, destinations, resorts, room types, trip length, and party size can all be adjusted to fit what works best for you.

Bag fees, seat selection, tight connections, inconvenient airports, and zero flexibility can add up fast.

The lowest price isn’t always the best value. The best value isn't always the most expensive either!

When I help clients compare flights, I’m looking at more than just the number on the screen. I’m looking at the schedule, the real cost, and how much stress it may add to the trip.

Because a good deal should actually make sense for your travel plans.

Think smaller ships, fewer sea days, charming little towns, historic cities, castles along the riverbanks, and waking up somewhere new without spending half your trip getting there.

The wedding is one day. The honeymoon? That’s your first big adventure as a married couple. 🤍

After months of planning, timelines, guest lists, and making sure everyone else is taken care of… this trip gets to be about the two of you.

✨ 2027 Disney offers are officially here! ✨

If a Walt Disney World trip is on your radar for next year, this is a great time to start planning! 🏰

Disney has released new 2027 promotions, including savings on select resort rooms and room-and-ticket packages, plus we’re already getting more details on special events and seasonal favorites throughout the year.

One thing I always tell my clients: you do not have to wait for the “perfect deal” to start planning. In a lot of cases, booking earlier means you have a much better selection of resorts, room categories and dates to choose from...especially if you’re traveling during popular times of year.

And the best part? If a new promotion comes out later that works better for your trip, I can always check to see if it can be applied to your reservation. So you’re not locking yourself out of future savings just because you planned ahead. 🙌🏼
