TEAM SPOTLIGHT - Chris Plett

Chris and his passion for life and business is a force to be reckoned with. Their family of three moved to Northwest Arkansas after Brittany took a new position with Walmart. Not only did this move bring them closer to both of their families, but is also a great area for hiking, hunting, and fishing. Prior to Chris becoming a partner with the family business, he managed a two year snow removal contract for the Air Force in Lincoln, NE. He would say those were some of the worst, yet best years of his life: "I learned from lots of mistakes, it hurt really bad at times." He talks about the support he had through those moments of failure and how that shaped the way he approaches business now, "without the proper tools, support, and backing from those we do business with, we fail. The trucking industry has many challenges and we do our best to overcome those, one day at a time." Chris is extremely passionate and competitive; when he gets his hands on something, consider it a done deal. He helps coordinate freight for an amazing team that they feel undeserving of. Chris and Ornan share the same vision when it comes to their business model. This year they opened up their own freight brokerage to serve clients on a larger scale. Transparency and putting drivers and customers first is always number one.
