Today, EAC celebrated over 200 days of an injury free workplace and we rewarded them with lunch from Taqueria El Azteca. We cannot thank our team enough for working safely, keeping their teammates safe and reporting any incident that may become an issue. Keep up the great work everyone!

Today marked the end of an era. After 37 and 32 years respectively, Colleen and Charlie Hall retired from EAC. They both were instrumental to EAC throughout the decades and we wish them nothing but the best in the future. We did have to have a little fun, hence the signs, balloons and sashes. They were good sports with it all. We even gave Charlie an application because everyone always comes back 🤣 They will be truly missed but we are happy they are able to enjoy the next chapter in their lives.

As many of you know, Clark Coyne, an employee of EAC, passed away unexpectedly on November 30th. The memorial service to honor Clark will be held on Monday, December 11th at 4pm at the Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Please come and support his loved ones during this difficult time.

EAC had a great day for a golf outing this weekend. Thank you to everyone who showed up for the fun. Ed Rahe, one of our original co-founders, graciously agreed to putt on the 18th hole for all of our groups. There will be more pictures coming, and if you participated and have pictures to share, please add them in the comments. Once again, thank you fellow EAC team members for making this a very successful event.

This evening we have been informed that one of our beloved retirees, Leroy Schnicke, has passed away. When we learn more details of his funeral arrangements, we will be sure to pass them along. Please send prayers and positive thoughts to his wife, Mamie, and the rest of their loved ones.

Today we were able to extrude a little trial run off of our brand new 14" press. Below is our press operator, Bob McKeever, with a nose piece. Bob has been patiently waiting for this day, even purchasing various bowties so he can look "sharp" when operating the press. He has been a great asset to EAC over the years and we are excited to see what he and the rest of the team will achieve once the troubleshooting is complete.
