Expect a Presidential TFR to close Somerset Airport this weekend, 7-9 August 2026. Expect it to begin Friday at 5:30pm and end Sunday evening at 6:30 pm. so plan accordingly and check with flight service (FSS) or tfr.faa.gov before you fly.

We expect a Presidential TFR will be in place surrounding and closing Somerset Airport this weekend beginning Friday July 31st (time TBA) and run through Sunday August 2d ending at a time to be announced. As always please plan before you fly and consult FSS or tfr.faa.gov.

Recently we had a wild bear sighting at Somerset Airport, today we had a Wild Bill sighting....William Wild, better known to his Somerset Airport friends as "Wild Bill" came by to say hello.
