Exciting news for local aviators: Somerset Airport is adding three brand-new multi-aircraft hangars, slated for completion by mid-2027!

While current tenants and waitlisted pilots will be prioritized for initial spots, airport management has also secured approvals to redevelop three additional zones on the airfield—potentially offering turnkey hangar-condo purchase options.

Not sure if Armend Perasevic vowed to solo before the end of August, but if he did, he made it at the last moment. On the evening of Monday, 31 Aug 26 he flew Cherokee N56578 into the traffic pattern at Somerset solo for the first time. His instructor, Wes Hemgren kept a watchful eye on him, but saw Armend do a great job. Congratulations!
