AND THE RESULTS ARE IN!

We had a very successful weekend, earning a total of $192.15 in tips, half of which equals $96.08 (rounding up). Couple that with the $25 gift card from Harry Campbell and Sergio Avedian from The Rideshare Guy, we are proud to "gig back" $121.07 to our wonedrful local non-profit Open Door HousingWorks.

We hope this will help to fund all the amazing work they do for our community's folks in need, and also inspire others to give. Get involved. Volunteer your time and funds. Time and money are tight, but sacrifices must be made for the greater good if we are to truly unlock our best selves, help foster equity and create opportunity.

For this month we are renewing our "Gig Back" Campaign by donating half of our tips from all gigs to local non-profit Open Door HousingWorks.

ODHW helps families with food, clothing and other essential items...and they will be partnering with Washington County to operate the City of Beaverton's first year-round Homeless Shelter. This state-of-the-art facility will be sustainable and offer important resources, making it a haven for safe-rest, close to vital shopping, public transit and humanitarian avenues.

Roc & Rose Transit is proud to "gig back" to the communities that continue to give so much to us, and our wonedrful driver community. We will be sure to post screenshots of our totals for gratuity, and our donation once funds have been settled.

Oh, before we forget, big shoutout to The Rideshare Guy for the $25 gift card. We will be putting those funds towards our donation. Hoping to inspire everyone to get involved and give (or gig) back to their own communities :)

2024 isn't the only thing making a leap! Roc & Rose Transit is proud to introduce the newest & brightest member of our team, the 2024 Kia EV9!

We now can serve up to 6 passengers, including 2nd & 3rd row climate control, cupholders and USB charging! Also, with up to 90 additional miles of range, and a revolutionary heat pump, our battery helps us go faster and farther than ever before!

We're stoked to continue to provide excellent service in the Portland Metro area, now with a fresh look! Let us be your All-Electric transportation service!

For our gig back this month we're doing it a little different. Putting together some care packages for a few folks living on the streets of Portland. Some warm clothes, water, a few first aid supplies and some reading material.

Roc & Rose Transit is proud to gig back to the community that has given us so much. Hoping to continue to inspire folks to do their part to make our communities (and ourselves in the process) better.

Cheddar & LBK even offered to lend a paw.

We really worked hard yesterday, and were able to raise $35.70 between all of our gigs for Project Lemonade. 🍋

But we can do better than that...so Roc & Rose Transit is doubling that, to $70!

If life gives you lemons, make lemonade, right? Well life has given me several lemons, and connected me with a whole lake full of that beautiful yellowy deliciousness. Thus, it is my honour to announce that Roc & Rose Transit will again be "gigging back" this weekend!

We will donate 10% of our earnings from all of our gigs (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Roadie...) to Project Lemonade. Project Lemonade is a wonderful organization that serves foster youth in the Oregon & SW Washington. As a former foster kid myself, this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart.

We will keep this very transparent moving forward, including screenshots off all our gigs. Hope everyone (including everyone in our awesome The Rideshare Guy gig community out there is inspired to get involved and make their communities a better place by giving just a little of their time.
