We are pleased to congratulate Louis Broussard Jr. on being elected President of the Port of Beaumont Board of Commissioners by his fellow board members. A dedicated commissioner since 2001, Mr. Broussard has played an instrumental role in the Port’s success over the past two decades and previously served as President during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, LaRue Smith, who has served as a commissioner since 2021, was elected vice president, and Georgine Guillory, a commissioner since 2003, was elected secretary-treasurer.
We look forward to continued economic and community growth under their leadership.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. David Willard, commissioner since 2019, for his service as outgoing President. During his term, the Port expanded its capacity, increased its operational footprint, and set ambitious new goals for the future.
