Happy National Donut Day! 🍩✈️

One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering how different cultures put their own spin on familiar treats. While we may think of the classic donut, countries around the world have their own famous versions that locals have been enjoying for generations.

🇵🇱 Poland is known for pączki, rich and fluffy pastries often filled with jam or custard.

🇩🇪 Germany has Berliner donuts, traditionally filled with fruit preserves and enjoyed year-round.

🇫🇷 France offers beignets, light fried pastries that are impossible to resist when fresh.

🇪🇸 Spain serves churros, often paired with thick hot chocolate for dipping.

🇮🇹 Italy has bomboloni, soft sugar-coated treats filled with cream, chocolate, or jam.

Food has a way of connecting us to a destination, and sometimes the sweetest memories come from the simplest bites.

Big changes are coming to Carnival’s loyalty program, and you’ll want to pay attention if you’ve cruised with them before.

Carnival has started sending emails about their new rewards program, and there’s one important step you need to take:
Make sure you log in and enroll in the updated program so your current VIFP status and benefits move over correctly.

Skipping the opt-in could mean your current loyalty level won’t transfer once the new system launches.

Here’s what’s coming with the new Carnival Rewards program in September 2026:
⭐ Earn and redeem reward points
⭐ Updated status tiers and perks
⭐ Milestone rewards tied to sailing days
⭐ Exclusive offers and onboard extras
