✨🧁So let’s talk dessert and bread - 2 food items we usually don’t get to eat at a regular restaurant when we go out to eat! 🥖✨
✨✨At Disney, specifically at a table service restaurant featuring a buffet style meal like Chef Mickey’s, when you share a food allergy in your reservation or upon check-in, you will receive an allergy menu. The allergy menu will list every food item in the buffet along with several common allergens as pictured (pic 3): Gluten/wheat, Egg, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Peanut, Trea nut, Sesame, Soy. (More to come on how to navigate allergies or sensitivities not on this list…)✨✨
✨🧁As you can see, several desserts are available upon request without these common allergens! 🍪🍪And one is even regularly on the regular buffet! During our most recent trip they also had a GF (not Vegan) Mickey Rice Krispie treat at the buffet, too!🧁✨
Pro tip: If you are sensitive to cross contamination, they will happily bring you fresh apple crisp from the kitchen instead of from the buffet. 🥧🥧
Pro Tip 2: Definitely ask for a second serving of allergy friendly rolls and ask for vegan butter even though it’s not listed. They have it!🥖🧈
✨Pro Tip 3: When your allergy safe food is delivered, look for the wooden allergy stick. No stick? Not safe! ✨
✨✨Isn’t it magical to get your own special dessert plate from the chef!?!✨✨
