The lighthouse area is more than just a pretty backdrop — it’s a peaceful spot to slow down and soak in those nautical vibes. From here, you can hop on the Friendship Boats for an easy ride to EPCOT’s International Gateway or over to Hollywood Studios, making transportation both convenient and scenic.

This area is also a great place to rent boats and get out on Crescent Lake — perfect for a relaxing afternoon on the water, a family adventure, or even a quiet moment away from the parks. Whether you’re strolling along the boardwalk paths, watching the boats go by, or planning your next destination, this spot truly captures the charm and ease of staying at Yacht Club.

The front of the resort welcomes you with crisp New England–style architecture, a peaceful arrival area, and a clearly marked bus stop that makes getting to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and beyond simple and stress-free. As you walk up, you’ll notice beautifully maintained grounds and an easy, scenic walking path that connects you to Beach Club, the BoardWalk area, EPCOT’s International Gateway, and even Hollywood Studios if you’re up for the stroll.

Inside, the Yacht Club continues that refined coastal feel with bright, open spaces, nautical details, and plenty to explore. You’ll find great dining options like Yachtsman Steakhouse for an upscale dinner, Ale & Compass for breakfast or a relaxed meal, and the Ale & Compass Lounge for evening bites. For quick snacks and coffee, the Market at Ale & Compass has you covered.

🌴🚤 Jungle Cruise: the ride that proves dad jokes never go out of style.

This classic Magic Kingdom attraction is popular for a reason—between the iconic scenes, pun-filled narration, and completely unpredictable skippers, no two cruises are ever the same. It’s also one of the top-tier Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections at Magic Kingdom, meaning when you’re booking, you can typically only choose one ride from that top tier at a time… and Jungle Cruise is often one of those “grab it while you can” options.

The jokes? Pure dad humor.
The delivery? Committed.
The interaction? NEXT LEVEL.

Our skipper, Mason, absolutely made the experience. He had the entire boat laughing—and somehow even had my son cracking up, even though he doesn’t fully understand the jokes yet (which honestly makes it even better). That’s the magic of a great Cast Member: reading the crowd, playing along, and making everyone feel part of the adventure.

If anyone knows a Jungle Cruise skipper named Mason or how to give him a proper Cast Member shout-out, help me find him—because experiences like this are why this ride stays a must-do year after year. 🌴✨
