Battle Creek Transit

Battle Creek Transit Transit Department of the City of Battle Creek Battle Creek Transit (BCT) is responsible for providing public transit service to Battle Creek area residents.

Regular route bus service is provided throughout the City of Battle Creek, with limited stops in the City of Springfield and the Townships of Bedford, Emmett, and Pennfield on weekdays from 5:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. There are approximately 460 BCT Bus Stop Signs throughout the area. For safety and traffic reasons, the bus will only stop at a Bus Stop sign.

Shelters are located at many major bus stops to provide a comfortable place to wait. No service is provided on Sunday. Route, schedule, and fare information is also available by calling 269-966-3474 (Voice/TDD) or on our website at www.battlecreekmi.gov/living. SERVICES FOR CUSTOMERS WITH DISABILITIES:

All BCT bus routes offer wheelchair lift-equipped service. Several seats in the front of route buses are marked as priority for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Call 269-966-3474 (Voice/TDD) for more information. BCT also provides door-to-door services for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, as well as for workers going to their jobs. Known as “Tele-Transit”, this service operates on weekdays from 5:15 a.m. to midnight and on Saturdays from 9:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thank you for riding BCT.
