🎵 Funny How Time Flies When You’re Having Fun 🎵
There was a time when I was the young man riding alongside my dad, watching him work, learning lessons I didn’t fully understand at the time.
Today, I found myself watching my son on a forklift, loading a truck, taking pride in his work, and growing into a young man right before my eyes.
Every day I go to work is a little more enjoyable now because I get a front-row seat to watching him develop confidence, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. Those moments are worth more than any paycheck.
As I stood there watching him, something hit me.
Now I know what that gleam in my daddy’s eye was.
It was pride.
It was gratitude.
It was the joy of seeing your child become someone you’re proud to call your son.
Funny how time flies. One minute you’re the kid looking up to your father, and the next you’re the father looking at your son with that same smile.
And one day, he’ll understand exactly why I was smiling.
