Grafting some queens in the pickup truck. Sorry I don’t think we are going to sell any queens but if you want some 4 frame nucs for $150 we can supply you with those. If you decide to do this you don’t need to get fancy. We graft thousands every year like this. Micheal will have a nice set up in Texas but all of them in Missouri are grafted in my truck.

On top of going an entire summer with no mite treatments these breeders produced at least a box of honey. I don’t recommend working bees without a bee suit but these are the gentle bees we strive to have.

I love honest people no matter how blunt they are. I gave my long term friend and well experienced beekeeper buddy a few queens to run next to some others he had to compare side by side. I like Pete because he won’t sugar coat a damn thing. He says it how it is and if I wanted honest feedback he would be the man to go to. This is what he sent this morning. Thanks Pete…. I’ll get back to work now 🤣

I couldn't keep my bee hives alive for 3 years, now I have different problems. Don't stress about your bees dying. Take accountability, learn from your mistakes and don't give up.

Honey 🍯 bucket 🪣 customers!!!

🪣 We’re thinking about adding a new bucket size!

Right now, our standard (and the industry standard) is the 5-gallon bucket, which holds about 60 lbs of honey. But recently, a few of our customers have asked if we could offer something a little smaller and easier to handle.

So, we’re considering adding a 3.5-gallon (42 lb) bucket to the lineup! It would still use the same lid, stack just like the 5-gallon, and be reusable and exchangeable for future use. The cost per pound would stay about the same — just less weight to lift! 💪🍯

We’d love to hear from you — would a smaller size make things easier for you? Or do you think the 5-gallon bucket is the way to go?
