Batavia & Ohio Railway Services is a family owned business on the Eastside of Cincinnati that specializes in the restoration, rebuilding, servicing of railway passenger equipment, diesel locomotives, and contract train crew services. Our management team has over 50-plus years of combined railroad experience with 3rd and 4th generation railroaders leading the company. Members of the management team

have first hand experience working for Class I, Class III, and Industrial railroads. Some of the work we specialize in is:

Mechanical Inspections (locomotives and all types of rolling stock). Locomotive and Passenger Car servicing and maintenance. Restoration and re-building of railway passenger equipment. Certified COT&S and Single car testing in accordance with 49 CFR parts 232.203 and 238. Certified Track inspections per 49 CFR, Part 213. Track maintenance. Shortline and industrial railroad operations. Contract train crews and mechanics. Sales and leasing of parts and equipment.
