For 90 years, Bartlett Electric Cooperative has been part of the communities we serve — growing alongside the region since 1936.

Over the years, generations of members have joined us for Annual Meetings, community events and cooperative traditions that have become part of BEC’s story.

🔥 Wildfire conditions remain elevated across Texas.

According to the latest from Wildfire Education & Prevention - Texas A&M Forest Service, continued hot and dry conditions are supporting increased wildfire potential across the state.

At Bartlett Electric Cooperative, wildfire prevention and preparedness are part of our ongoing commitment to safety and reliability. BEC Power continues to:

⚡ Monitor weather and fire conditions across our service area
⚡ Inspect and maintain our electric system
⚡ Manage vegetation along rights-of-way
⚡ Coordinate with local emergency officials when wildfire activity threatens our system or the communities we serve

We encourage members to stay aware of conditions in their area, follow local burn bans and emergency guidance, and use extra caution outdoors during these hot, dry conditions.

Together, we can help reduce wildfire risk and protect the communities we call home.
