BEC Power Proudly serving more than 13,000 members across Bell, Burleson, Lee, Milam, and Williamson counties since 1935.

BEC Power is an electric distribution cooperative proudly serving over 9,500 members, with over 12,500 meters and over 1,700 miles of line in rural Central Texas. Our service area includes areas of Bell, Burleson, Milam and Williamson counties. Bartlett Electric Cooperative has been in operation since 1936 and, we are proud to be the first REA project energized in Texas and the nation. Bartlett Electric Cooperative played an important role in the modernization of the rural farms served by the cooperative, and we continue to be dedicated to providing quality service at the most economical price.

A reminder that Bartlett Electric Cooperative offices will close today at 4:00 p.m. as we prepare for this evening's Bartlett Electric Cooperative 90th Annual Meeting.

Members can continue to access their accounts, make payments, and monitor usage 24/7 through SmartHub.

Be sure to bring your tear-off registration card from the October issue of Texas Co-op Power magazine to help make registration quick and easy.

🎓 Investing in our future starts right here at home.

Applications are now open for the 2027 Lawrence Karl Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Each year, Bartlett Electric Cooperative helps eligible graduating seniors from BEC member families continue their education — whether their next step takes them to a university, junior college, or technical school.

It’s one more way the cooperative principle of Concern for Community becomes something tangible.

Eligible applicants must:
✅ Be a graduating high school senior
✅ Have a parent or guardian who is a Bartlett Electric Cooperative member
✅ Reside full-time in a home served by BEC with an active account
✅ Attend a high school within the BEC service area or a neighboring school district
✅ Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 90 on a 100-point scale
✅ Have applied for admission as a full-time student at a university, junior college or technical school

📅 Applications must be received by March 9, 2027.
During National Co-op Month, we’re proud to celebrate opportunities that help our young people take the next step toward their futures.
