Stand up paddle boarding or "SUP" is fun, easy to do, and is an amazing core/full body workout. Most people are standing up and paddling in less than 20 minutes and the majority of people don't even fall in! We specialize in running trips designed to be educational, fun, and exciting for all ability levels. Come see why paddling with us is sure to be the highlight of your trip to our beautiful island. Each trip takes place on calm protected waters on local lakes inside Acadia National Park as well as in the the calm bays and harbors around MDI. You pick the venue and we will do the rest. A trip with us is the perfect option for every ability level and can be custom designed on a private basis to meet your specific goals. The best part is you don't have to find a way to get the equipment to or from the water and our instructors will do all the loading and unloading for you so you can focus on having fun. PADDLE BOARD (SUP) RENTALS
We also offer rentals for anything from a half day to a full week. Foam pads and straps are provided to secure up to 2 or 3 boards to the top of your vehicle (we are not located on the water.) Most people take their rental boards to one of a couple beautiful lake locations on the island but there are several protected ocean locations available for more experienced paddlers. Please be prepared to have a chat with our staff before renting since for safety reasons we do place restrictions on where you can paddle based on your level of experience. For an additional fee, delivery and or pick up is available most evenings by appointment for multi day rentals.

Crazy to think its been 15 years! When we first started, people doubted that it would ever last. Now SUP is so mainstream its not even a question. Through it all, we are just as committed as ever to providing the highest level instruction, experience, and selection of boards for sale as the day we started.

So sad. 🙁 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wear your PFD. ALWAYS wear a leash. Yes..even on a lake. (If you fall on a windy day unattached to your board you won't be able to catch it as it sails away from you.) Dress for the water temperature not the air. This time of year cold water can kill in minutes

Just in time for a beautiful weekend! The Carriage Roads are open! We will have e-bikes available for your riding pleasure.

Carriage roads have reopened to all uses.

Thank you to all of our visitors who respected our annual closure of the carriage roads during the spring thaw, also known as "mud season." This closure helps our teams preserve these one-of-a-kind cultural resources during a time in which they are extremely fragile.

While you are out having fun on the carriage roads, please remember the carriage roads are used for various types of recreation. Pedestrians must yield to horses and cyclists must yield to horses and pedestrians. Only Class 1 e-bikes are allowed on carriage roads. Motorized vehicles and Class 2 & 3 e-bikes are prohibited.

FYI for all you cyclists out there!

The National Park Service began site work to prepare for repaving five miles of Park Loop Road.

From April 6–14 Park Loop Road will be closed to all visitors, including walkers and bikers, from the start of the one-way section to Kebo Street. Please note, the Loop Road remains closed to vehicles until April 15.
