A little backstory behind my journey!
First and foremost, ALL GLORY TO GOD! This journey has come with its share of ups and downs, but through it all, God has remained faithful to me, and I will continue to remain faithful to Him. My passion for transportation started long before becoming a business owner. In 2014, I began driving school buses for Baltimore City Public Schools. From school buses to motor coaches and eventually trucking, I’ve gained over a decade of hands-on experience in the transportation industry. This has never been just a job for me. It’s something I’ve genuinely loved for years!
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I took a break while pregnant with our daughter. My husband and I eventually became owner-operators in trucking, gaining experience with ports, reefers, dry vans, and everything in between! In 2021, I purchased my first school bus and started Precise Transportation. Things didn’t take off the way I envisioned, but I’ve learned that a delay doesn’t mean denial. Sometimes God has a different plan. In 2024, I stepped out on faith again and launched Cypress Tree Transportation Services.
No loans, no handouts. Just faith, hard work, sacrifice, and building from the ground up. It hasn’t been easy financially, and even today, it still isn’t. But I know where I’m trying to go, and I refuse to give up. I’m building with what I have, trusting God with what I can’t see, and believing that everything will come together in His timing.
I also have to acknowledge my husband, an incredible diesel mechanic who works with transportation contractors throughout Maryland, helping keep their fleets on the road. His knowledge and support have been such a blessing throughout this journey. ❤️
Transportation has always been more than a job to me. It’s something God placed in my heart. I’m a dream chaser with goals beyond this industry, and I have no intentions of stopping! I’m nowhere near where I want to be, but I’m grateful I’m not where I started. God isn’t finished with me yet, and neither am I.
The journey continues.
